Overview

Yasumeru (休める, Rest) is a Yume Nikki Fangame created by Sushimon2001 (Tumblr, Pixiv) in RPG Maker 2003. This game stars Yasashi, a boy living in a small house on a hill. You are able to exit your room and go outside, but cannot climb the steps down past his house. After waking up, you can see the time of day changes every time you sleep. It cycles from morning, to afternoon, to night, to dusk, then back to morning. There is also a small chance of rain when you wake up.

The one ending of the game, titled UNEND, is a placeholder for possible full ending(s) in later versions.

Effects

Name	Image	Description
RPG		Yasashi becomes a character from the RPG Maker template. This causes him to run at twice his normal speed.
Child		Yasashi becomes a younger version of himself. This can be used to crawl into small spaces.
Glitch		Yasashi's sprite becomes corrupted. Pressing SHIFT causes the screen to pixelate, then return to normal.
Inverted		Yasashi's colors become reversed, with blue hair and a purple jacket. Pressing SHIFT causes the screen to flash white with a sound effect.
Kanji		Yasashi becomes monochrome, with a kanji that changes with the walk cycle. Pressing SHIFT will cause him to warp to the Nexus, but will not teleport while already in the Nexus.
Neon		Yasashi becomes distorted and brightly colored.
