Overview

Sigil is an English Yume Nikki fangame created by Anoghastra. It was developed for Dream Diary Jam 2 in Game Maker: Studio.

Gameplay

Sigil is a non-traditional fangame. The goal of the game is to reach the lowest level of the player character's subconscious. Each level has 1-3 doors with a node puzzle that requires you to create a sigil in order to unlock and progress to the next area.

Once you attempt to unlock a door, a random NPC will give the player the code needed to solve the puzzle. This NPC will be wandering around the area for the player to find (the other NPCs will give hints on the code giver's location). Some doors will lead to a dead-end room, in which case the player will have to wake up and start all over. The player can exit the game by leaving the bedroom.
