Overview

Severed Ties is an English Yume Nikki fangame created by JPiggs in RPG Maker MZ. It was developed as an entry for Dream Diary Jam 6.

Gameplay

Severed Ties is a traditional fangame. The player can save by interacting with computer and access the dream world through the bed.

Plot

You explore the dreams of Alex, who is a shut-in as they come to understand themselves and who they are.

Effects

Name	Image	Description
Alex		Alex's regular form, taking off any effects.
Butterfly		Alex becomes a butterfly, increasing their speed.
Cleaver		Alex wields a cleaver and can kill NPCs.
Demon		Alex sports a demon costume.
Egg		Alex becomes an egg with reduced movement speed.
Gal		Alex adorns blonde hair and a fashionable outfit. When shift is pressed, Alex will perform a hair-flip that attracts NPCs.
Hoodie		Alex sports a hoodie and is not seen by chasers.
Merfolk		Alex dresses as a merfolk.
Journalist		Alex becomes a journalist and is able to save from the menu.
Tikabalang		Alex becomes a Tikabalang, increasing their speed.
