Overview

Neonsomnia is an English Yume Nikki fangame by Maxthetics. It was created for Dream Diary Jam 7 in GB Studio. This fangame can be played both in browser and offline via download.

Gameplay

Neonsomnia is a traditional fangame. Sleeping in the bed takes the player to the dream world. The goal is to explore and collect effects. To wake up, players must enter the Subspace and walk through the entryway at the bottom-right corner. Progress can be saved using the computer in the bedroom. A minigame called Turnip Bandit can be played on the console by the TV.

Plot

You explore a surreal dream world while sleeping.

Effects

Name	Image	Description
Key		The protagonist has a key for a head. Used to remove key blocks and access new areas.
Rabbit		The protagonist becomes a rabbit. Some NPCs react differently to you when this effect is equipped.
Sphere		The protagonist has a sphere for a head.
No Face		The protagonist's face is gone. This effect allows you to understand dream speech.
