Overview[]

Miso Nikki (みそにっき), Miso Diary) is a lesser-known Japanese Yume Nikki Fangame developed by an anonymous 2ch member in RPG Maker XP, referencing a meme on the site.

The game has become somewhat of a legend due to its scarce downloads, removal from the internet, and general mystery.

Gameplay[]

The game starts in a round white room which serves as the game's nexus and bears an assortment of five unusual items. Three of them are doors to other worlds/dream worlds. One of the items is an effect and the other is a pink tentacle that turns the screen yellow when interacted with.

The goal is to collect 6 Miso (orbs) along with effects to see the ending. In this game, effects cannot be held in the inventory and are therefore collected one at a time.

You play as Misotsuki. It is unknown what kind of place the game's starting room is, or how Misotsuki got there.
