Overview

Mesonoxian is an English Yume Nikki fangame created by Wambysock. It was made in RPG Maker 2003 for the 2017 Dream Diary Jam.

Gameplay

Mesonoxian is a traditional fangame. The desk is used to enter the dream world and the bed is used to save.

The main goal is to explore and collect effects (known as Influences). A minigame can be played on the console in the room outside the bedroom.

Plot

You play as Tyran. Tyran is stuck inside his home due to a rainstorm, leaving him to daydream in his free time.

Influences (Effects)

Name	Image	Description
Engine		An engine is strapped to Tyran's back, increasing his speed. Pressing Shift makes Tyran put on the goggles.
Occult		Tyran wears a cloak as a weapon, allowing him to kill NPCs.
Vision		Tyran has a cybernetic eye, allowing him to see otherwise hidden objects. Pressing Shift turns the eye on or off.
U-Turn		Tyran's head is replaced with a U-turn sign. Pressing Shift returns him to the Nexus.
Box		Tyran hides in a box. Pressing Shift makes Tyran disappear into the box, allowing him to sneak past chasers.
