Overview[]

Melodia is a Yume Nikki fangame made by Sakura-Sun. Melodia, as the title suggests, has a major musical motif. It has a rather small amount of worlds, no areas going past the Nexus doors.

In its prototype state, materials either come from free-use resources or are borrowed from other games such as Lcd Dem (Ver.0.020 at the game's date of creation).

Gameplay[]

The objective of Melodia is to collect Melodies throughout the dream world, accessed through falling asleep in front of the TV. Collecting Melodies causes more doors to appear at the Nexus.

Plot[]

You play as Analiese, a young girl who has locked herself up from the outside world, and wants nothing to do with it. Like Yume Nikki and all fangames, you explore your dreams, but instead of collecting effects, you collect (as ironic as it sounds) melodies, which remind her of the good times she had in the outside world.

As part of a pregame cutscene, Analiese is shown walking in the darkness with a similar-looking character on each side of her before reaching her room.

Melodies[]

Effects in this game are referred to as Melodies, thought they are not playable or usable. (It appears that the descriptions of "Digital" and "Memory" were mistakenly switched.)

Name Description
Digital A melody from when Ana was in music class.
Zen A peaceful melody when your mom used to play.
Memory A melody from a video game you used to play.
Epic An epic song of epic proportions.
Ocean A melody that reflects the serenity of the ocean.
Sky Look at the sky, you'll hear it then.
Remember Never forget. Always remember...
Piano A melody your dad used to play.

(This melody is unused.)
