Overview

Mangaka Dream is an English fangame made by CreativaGS in RPG Maker MV. It was created for Dream Diary Jam 5.

Gameplay

Mangaka Dream plays similarly to a traditional fangame. The player enters the dream world by sleeping in the bed and saves by interacting with the little notebook on the drawer.

Instead of vast looping worlds typically seen in fangames, the dream world mainly comprises of maze rooms, with the goal being to get to reach a room with a treasure chest containing a key item. Once obtained, the player must wake up and repeat the process to obtain all the items and unlock the ending.

Plot

You play as an aspiring manga artist who is trying to finish a manga and get it published.
