Overview[]
Maigo (迷子) is the protagonist of Strange Memo (ストレンジMemo). Before the developer remade the game for version 0.5R, they were called Akigakure (あきがくれ).
There is evidence that hints Maigo is genderfluid. As of the latest version (0.7), depending on which of the three NPCs the player interacts with at the opening cutscene, they will identify as either male, female, or "???" according to the pause menu for the rest of the game.
Appearance[]
Maigo has short, dark green-brown hair. They wear a dark brown shirt with purple sleeves, a purple patch on the top-right and lighter brown patch on the bottom-left on the front of the shirt.
They also wear red and black striped leggings/tights and brown shoes.
Personality[]
Not much is known about Maigo personality. Their menu title used to be 奇人 (meaning "odd/eccentric person") in precedent versions of the game, suggesting an eccentric personality.
They also seem to be quite imaginative, given that the dream world is referred to as Fantasy (空想).
