Overview
Little Knife Girl Fantasy (包丁少女幻窓曲, Houchou Shoujo Gensoukyoku), commonly known as Yume Nikki Gensou, is a fangame of metroidvania genre made from atelierizumi.
Gameplay
The game takes Yume Nikki characters and puts them in a simplified version of gameplay with Castlevania-type action and Metroid-like exploration sequence. Madotsuki, the protagonist of Yume Nikki, descends onto the Pastel Shoal World and enters the house with a knife. The player controls her as she explores the various rooms reminiscent of Yume Nikki, defeating enemies and collecting items.
