Overview[]

Puchi Nikki (プチニッキ) is a Japanese fangame made by Neji (Pixiv) in SmileBoom's Puchicon app (otherwise known as Petit Computer in other regions) for DSi. Due to that application no longer being available (at least in the North American region's 3DS eShop), few people are able to obtain and play it. This is not to be confused with the other Puchicon-made YNFG of the same name (but in Hiragana).

Gameplay[]

Players take the role of an unnamed person with long black hair and white clothes, who starts off in a Japanese style room and is able to leave it to enter the Nexus. There is no in-game text to be found, with everything menu-wise being represented by icons. Holding the B button on the console will freeze the protagonist in place, making them immobile and inverting their sprite, regardless of the effect they have on. The purpose of this is unknown.

Controls[]

A button - Open menu / select option

B button - Close menu / freeze in place while inverting sprite

D-Pad / Circle Pad -  Move character / move menu cursor

Effects[]

Effects have no official names, the names come from their appearance.
