Overview[]
ESCAPISM AREA is a Yume Nikki fangame created by cozy existence lounge in Roblox. It’s an English fangame, though it also contains other languages, like Russian, Latin and others.
Gameplay[]
ESCAPISM AREA is a semi-traditional fangame.
Sleeping on the bed in ESCAPISM AREA I will take you to the ESCAPISM AREA II (ESCAPISM AREA’s main analog to The Nexus), while clicking the turquoise button near the INDEXTOP (the computer) will take you to INDEX AREA (ESCAPISM AREA’s secondary Nexus equivalent).
The equivalents for “Effects” appear in the form of Items/Tools, which are split between several categories, below is a list of them:
(Next to the names are numbers, which mean how many of said items are currently implemented)
- VIABLES (8) - Items that have a use (regardless of practicality).
- KEEPSAKES (8) - Items that don’t do much of anything by themselves.
- MINUS VIABLES (2) - Items that give harm to the player, often being opposites of existing VIABLES.
There are two other categories which aren’t as relevant, yet they should be mentioned:
- EVENTUALS (1) - Items that are achieved during the games events, they could be either viables or keepsakes.
- INDIVIDUALS (0) - Items given to specific people.
These items are stored in MODUSES, which are coloured appropriately to it’s housing item’s category.
When you enter the game, you have the TROWEL VIABLE as your starter tool. You can use it to create temporary walls, which you can make up to 4 before one of them starts to disappear.
