Overview[]
Dream Genie (梦鬼, Mèng Guǐ , lit. Dream Ghost) is a Chinese Yume Nikki Fangame created by TanDen___ ☄ in RPG Maker 2003. Qiu Qin (秋琴) is the protagonist of this game.
Gameplay[]
The game starts with Qiu Qin in her room. The player can interact with the television to save and enter the Dream World through the mirror on the wall. The menu style can be changed by interacting with the horned skull in the room.
While in the Nexus, the player can change Qiu Qin's walking speed by interacting with the statue in the middle. Unlike most fangames, Qiu Qin's appearance will sometimes change forms while entering some of the worlds. You collect Delusions (虚物) to gain progress, the game's version of effects. There is a room the player can access by closing the 3D Projector in the Nexus; you can enter the Subnexus with 6 more portals by opening the 3D projection.
Another unique feature of this game is that Qiu Qin can be harmed by chasers in her dream, who will take off her Health Points if she is caught. When Qiu Qin's health reaches zero, the player will get a Game Over screen (which shows Damn Over) and be sent back to the title screen. There is a shop in the dream world where you can buy potions to restore Qiu Qin's health to prevent this from happening.
Additionally, there is also a Pet Room near the 3D Projector. You can feed the strange pet rabbit Zabu (扎布) with certain objects you can collect in the dream world to change its appearance, or release it and let it follow you through the dream world. On the bottom-right part in the Nexus is a Trophy Room; you can get four trophies by accessing some places in the game.

- Qiu Qin seems to have paranoia so she resides in her delusional world to get away from reality.
Delusions (Effects)[]
Along with the regular 22 Delusions, you start off with an item called Default (默认态) 
that returns Qiu Qin to her regular form, also taking off any pseudo-effects.
