Overview[]

Akuma (悪魔, Demon) is a Spanish Yume Nikki Fangame created by AshitaMinami in RPG Maker 2003.

Gameplay[]

Akuma plays like a traditional Yume Nikki Fangame. The player enters the dream world by using the machine in the bedroom and saves by sleeping in the bed. There is a debug menu that can be accessed by interacting with the shining item on the bookshelf.

Along with collecting effects, the main goal of the game is to uncover the story that unfolds by exploring the dream world. Unlike most traditional fangames, Akuma features dialogue and in-game text like journals to help tell its story.

You play a boy named Akise who cannot leave his bedroom.

Vespa		Akise rides a Vespa scooter, doubling his speed. Pressing 1 makes him take off his goggles.
Machete		Akise carries a machete as a weapon.
Red Demon (Demonio Rojo)		Akise becomes a red demon.
Saxophone (Saxofón)		Akise holds a saxophone. Pressing 1 makes him play it.
Corruption (Corrupción)		Akise's lower body melts into a blob, lowering his speed.
Star (Estrella)		Akise is blindfolded and wears a blue outfit. Pressing 1 warps him back to the nexus.
Scientist (Científico)		Akise becomes a scientist. This effect is only obtainable through the game's debug menu.
