Overview

オオカミの夢 (Okami no Yume) (lit. The Wolf's Dream/Dream of the Wolf) is an English Yume Nikki fangame created by dinoburger in RPG Maker VX Ace. It was developed as an entry for Dream Diary Jam 6.

Gameplay

Okami no Yume is a traditional fangame. The player can save by interacting with the guitar case in the bedroom, and enter the dream world by interacting with the bed. The goal of the game is to explore and collect Forms which will change the protagonist's appearance and/or grant new abilities.

Along with forms, the player must also keep an eye on the Transformation Meter, noted by the TF symbol in the menu. The Transformation meter will increase as the player kills NPCs, which will affect the ending. There are two possible endings as of the latest version.

Plot

You play as Gizatsuki and explore through their dreams and identity.

Forms (Effects)

Name	Image	Description
Moon		Gizatsuki has a moon for a head. Pressing Shift returns them to the Nexus.
Jinmenken		Gizatsuki becomes a Jinmenken, increasing their speed. Pressing Shift makes them scratch themself.
Lycanthropy		Gizatsuki becomes a werewolf, allowing them to kill NPCs when interacting with them. Pressing Shift makes them bark.
Punk		Gizatsuki is dressed as a punk. Pressing Shift makes them stick out their tongue and do a hand sign.
Formal		Gizatsuki wears a suit. Pressing Shift makes them adjust their tie.
